Honestly, Jean could continue this way forever, but he would definitely take more passionate, deeper kisses too and continue those forever. Just having this happen is a long dream come true and he doesn't want it to end. He's fine with baby steps. Fine with fast development too. Honestly, he's fine if this is the first and the last time, if that was what made Mikasa comfortable. He'd hope for more, but would never push it.

His heart is beating crazy fast and his face is most likely very deep red... but he's smiling, too. A smile he's likely shown before, too, but now it's even brighter. The pure, sweet, genuine joy and affection.
