[ Well. It's their first evening here and they arrive to The Red Spring. An inn room is very different from owning a farmhouse but it's still much better than anything back in their own world... Mikasa's not really sure what she's expecting to see before they walk in there but it definitely is much better than whatever the cynical girl may have thought it would be... Two twin beds? Seems like Snow would get her own bed to sleep on, she knows what a fridge is but she has no idea what those two boxes (microwave and TV) are but they could either figure it out together or find out later.

Not that she's very interested in them anyway, she's way more into stealing all of her Jean's attention to herself. So, eventually they take some of their clothes off and cuddle close to each other on one of the beds, while their dog gets the other to herserlf. (Or she'll have to share with their familiars if they return from their things to do into this room.)

At least sleeping next to each other, cuddling and all that is very familiar from Empatheias even if this is a different world. Mikasa nuzzles on Jean's cheek before she gives a soft kiss there.]

You should sleep.

[ ... Right, leave it to Mikasa to start a conversation with that instead of anything else. ]

[Mikasa wakes him by bringing breakfast along with some pieces of different cakes to their bed -- but it's also breakfast for two, so she's eating it with Jean!

Then once they finish everything, she puts the tray away from the bed and stays there with him and that's also when Snow jumps on the bed to cuddle Jean. Mikasa keeps looking at them, nothing unusual about that!! She's trying to keep her poker face despite how she's really nervous today for some reason, or more like, one reason even if she also feels like knows what his answer is going to be... No, she definitely knows his answer, right?

Should she be on the bed too? Should they be standing? Should she have tried some other way??? How does this usually work? Mikasa has no idea!! This seems like one of those normal mornings, whenever they both happen to be home at the same time with Snow stealing all of her or his time away from the other human by stealing all of Jean's attention.

But but, she's wearing her pink, cute collar already and she has a very special message there. (Except instead of me it says Mi) so umm, better keep cuddling with the dog until you find it, Jean!]

[After their anon talk...Mukuro nervously gave Jean a call. If she started up talking about her guinea pigs that'd be a good lead in, right?]

Jean, hey...um. You busy?

[Mukuro definitely wanted to give Jean a Christmas present- and as someone military-minded like her, she was a little more comfortable working out what to get him.

And so, he'd find a carefully wrapped package signed by Mukuro, containing a sturdy-looking camping multitool and an emergancy surival toolkit.

...These were good things to give as presnts, right??

Inside, she'd tucked a small note: 'Merry Christmas. Let's carry on fighting together next year too.']

[ Niceties first. She'll get to the point eventually. ]

[ There be a knocking on Jean's door! She was on the way home from the Phoenix Roost and saw Jean's place, and... you know, an extra hit of cash definitely wasn't undesirable. Harassing Jean was just an added benefit. ]

[ Jean is a knight, and thus he doesn't need to wait long at all to see King Arthur. Knights kind of have a priority in, being his right-hand men and all. Jean is greeted with a handshake from Arthur himself when he comes in, the man grasping their shaking hands with his free one for a firm shake. ]
