[Seasons] Odyssey

What It Is
An organization dedicated to making expeditions safer.

About
Odyssey is an organization founded by Jean Kirstein after a dangerous expedition. The goal is to organize, equip, and mobilize teams to explore Ellipsa's uncharted territories. Safety is paramount.

Teams are created based on compatibility. (Experience, personality, and abilities all factor.) Teams may be static or created for specific missions.

Gear is supplied by Volcanus and BraunSphere.
Membership
Membership is open to all Otherworlders.

For a low cost, members receive a charm they can attach to a phone, necklace, etc. The charm is a blue and yellow sapphire with a river carved into its face.

The charm is enchanted to resist all elemental damage and increase evasion.

Members also get access to the headquarters in Frostreign, where people are encouraged to hang out with other members of the organization.
Teams
Experience is the primary factor when organizing teams. A novice never goes out without an experienced partner.

Personalities are also taken into consideration. If people can't work together, they are not assigned to the same team.

Seasonal abilities are weighed more heavily than those from other sources. The more seasonal abilities someone has mastered, the more access they have to tough missions.

The teams are organized OOCly by players. No one will be forced to work with anyone, instead OOC communications are the key in making these. Jean and Reiner will ICly help with building teams.
Headquarters
Odyssey's headquarters is located in Frostreign, not far from the Winter Guild.

Headquarters is a large lodge with areas to meet, mingle, and prepare. It is toasty warm and cozy, and there is always something cooking.

There are no training areas. Instead, members are encouraged to socialize, share meals, and build trust.

There is also a giant map of Ellipsa on one of the walls, with various markings (such as known safe spots and areas of interest).

Aventurine

Canon: Bear with me, this is a weird one.
- LUCK: His luck is unnatural, though it centers around him and not other people. For other people it's more like a black hole, he can be extremely lucky (we're talking if he plays russian roulette, without fail, he could shoot 5 times and not reach the bullet. it's also stupidly likely it'd jam on the 6th shot - think Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa if you're familiar with the series but on steroids) but he may suffer to reach that point, along with the people around him. It's a blurse 😔
- SHIELD: Aventurine is path of Preservation - this means his forte is creating a shield that will reduce damage for him and his teammates.

- IMAGINARY DAMAGE: His element type is Imaginary, in this case he conjures massive poker chips and dice to hit enemies with. For his basic attack he'll thwack a single enemy with dice, for his Ultimate he'll effectively summon a roulette wheel to harm a single enemy with Big Damage.

- TECHNIQUE: He can also preemptively prepare for battle by triggering his technique which will increase his DEF for 3 turns based on gacha luck.

- TALENT: He also has a passive talent, that any who have been given Fortefied Wager will have their effect res increased by 25%—55% - this means it decreases the chances of allies being hit by debuffs.

- SHOOTING: Has shooting as a hobby, so very good aim with firearms and knowledge of them.

Other: Willing to do a temporary tattoo in preparation for the event based on what is deemed potentially useful.
