Most chain letters are like this, send this to so many people or something weird/bad happens. Sometimes they try to scam you out of money or other valuables. Those are the kind I used to get.

Some people really have too much time on their hands to come up with something like scamming people through mail.

These kind of harmless ones are fine. At least this place doesn't seem to have Technomancy to actually turn people into gourds.

Not exactly into gourds, but they could send magic and curses through the phones we had there.

There were curses in the other place but I don't think they could come through the phone? I know the things ran on magic but I don't know if they could do something like that, geez.

I don't know how it worked since it wasn't a magic I personally had, I just know it happened. I even got to test it once and got like a defence boost or something.

It was really all about your magic combination was, what you could do with Technomancy.
